JZM are delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally special 911 SC. The ‘SC’ abbreviation stands for Super Carrera and was a model that ran for just 6 model years between 1978 – 1983. This MY82 example features black bellows, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors in body colour, anodised black exterior trim, tail-light panel with black Porsche logo, side direction indicators and the optional front & rear spoilers from the 911 Turbo 3.0

Back in 2013, the 911 was celebrating its 50th anniversary and as part of these anniversary celebrations, Porsche Cars GB launched a nationwide competition, allowing the Official Porsche Dealer Network to purchase and restore a 911. The competition focused on the restoration itself but also on the documentation of and marketing aspect of the project. This example was the entry of Porsche Centre Cambridge and the team spent in excess of £30,000 bringing the car up to concours winning condition. Stripped back to a rolling chassis and then painstakingly put back together over 682-man hours utilising OEM Porsche parts, the project was absolutely a labour of love. As a part of this process the 3.0 litre engine was fully rebuilt meaning that the car is collector grade not only from a cosmetic standpoint but also from a mechanical one!

The entire restoration process was documented via a 46-page booklet in addition to a USB stick containing over 450 high resolution images of the project from day 1 to completion. Supplied with 2 keys, original handbooks and service book as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this example is perfect for anyone wanting a fully restored top tier 911 SC!
