The Porsche 928 GT represents one of the most desirable and capable versions of the transaxle grand tourer, bridging the gap between the standard 928 S4 and the later GTS. Produced in comparatively limited numbers, the GT combined the charismatic 5.0-litre V8 with a five-speed manual gearbox, uprated suspension and a limited slip differential, creating what many enthusiasts regard as the purest driver's 928.
