The Porsche 993 Turbo remains one of the most important and desirable air-cooled 911 models ever produced. Launching in 1995 to widespread acclaim, it marked a major shift in philosophy for Porsche, combining the traditional character of the air-cooled Turbo with significantly improved usability and performance thanks to the introduction of four-wheel drive technology derived from the legendary 959.
