Description

Originally supplied by Porsche Centre Kent and finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over Black Nomex, this C16 UK supplied 996 GT3 presents as a particularly interesting and highly developed example of Porsche’s analogue Mezger-engined GT product.

Already regarded as one of the defining GT3 models, the 996 occupies an important place within Porsche history as the car that established the GT3 formula we still know today, lightweight, focused and built around driver involvement above all else. This example retains those core characteristics whilst benefiting from a carefully selected range of upgrades intended to further enhance both road and track capability.

Notable additions include Manthey suspension and rear wing, an RS clutch and flywheel, short shifter, Tequipment cage and BBS E88 wheels, alongside Alcon braking hardware and a dedicated track day setup. The car also benefits from full PPF protection and a windows-out respray, demonstrating the level of care and attention invested into the car over time.

Arguably the standout feature however is the extensive Fearnsport 4.0-litre engine conversion, with invoices totalling in excess of £30,000 for the engine work alone, further underlining the level of investment this car has received.

A very purposeful and highly engaging GT3 which combines the appeal of the Mezger engine with a well-considered specification, significant engineering upgrades, and extensive supporting history.
